Lil Snupe Killed Over A $100 Dice Game
June 20, 2013 – Unfortunately today we lost a very talented upcoming artist, Lil Snupe. Lil Snupe was shot and killed over a $100 dice game last night. 18 year old Jonesboro,Louisiana native, Lil snupe had his whole career ahead of him. Snupe had an incredible ability to freestyle, a talent that was about to change this rap game. Lil Snupe was signed to Meek Mill’s record label DreamChases. Meek was in Louisiana on tour when Lil Snupe saw his tour bus, ran and knocked on the window, an hour later Meek called Snupe and signed him. It was a life changing deal for Lil snupe. His most recent work RNIC had features with big names such as Trae The Truth, Curren$y, Yo Gotti, Hurricane Chris, and many more. A mixtape which cause a large fan following for Snupe.
UPDATE- The man responsible for Lil Snupe’s death, 36 year old Tony Holden has been arrested by the Winnfield, LA police. Snupe was found with two shots in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene by the police.
UPDATE (July 9) – A second suspect has been arrested, Edrick O. Steward was arrested July 3, 2013 and charged with manslaughter. Tony Holden remains in jail, charged with first degree murder,illegal possession of a firearm, as well as armed robbery, Holden has a $2 million dollar bond.
