Ken Randle stopped by 97.9 The Box Houston on February 25 to discuss details about his career, and upcoming project “Sex In A Slab” EP. Ken has gained much attention and a following after his collaboration with Kirko Bangz on a track titled “Rain Down”. But it wasn’t until September 2013 when Ken released his first single “Sex In A Slab” he gained the recognition and respect he deserves as an artist.
During his interview with Kiotti he did not give too many details about who exactly he is working with but he did say “I’ve been knocking out a couple of features, got to work with a couple of artist I’m definitely a fan of.” Ken also confirmed he recently wrapped up the EP and is excited to show his fans what is to come. Ken wants to be viewed as a “different” artist. “I aim for difference, I’m very versatile, and I’ll hop on anything. I’m trying to do something different for the city, coming with that full package.” Randle has teamed up with Grammy Nominated, and ASCAP Award winning producer Drathoven who produced Ken’s first hit single “Sex In A Slab” and produced his EP as well. “This CD is so hard, Ken is putting magic out” said Drathoven during the interview with Kiotti.
Starting the year off right on January 13, 2014 Ken Randle signed to Jas Prince’s record label YEMG. Being under Jas Prince’s wing and guidance and managed by Courtney Wilkerson it is a fact that Ken’s career will continue to flourish.
